Terms of Service
Last updated 26 June 2026
These terms govern your use of Constella. By adding a dot or using the service you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use Constella.
Eligibility
Constella is an adults-only service. You must be at least 18 years old to use Constella, including Campus Pulse, and you confirm that you are 18 or older when you join a campus. We do not knowingly allow anyone under 18 to use Constella or to provide us personal data (including a college-ID photo); if we learn that a user is under 18, we will close the account and delete the data.
This reflects India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, under which anyone under the age of 18 is a “child” whose personal data may be processed only with verifiable parental consent. Constella does not currently offer a parental-consent flow, so the service is limited to users who are 18 or older.
Your account and dot
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information on your dot and for keeping your account secure. One account owns one dot. You must have the right to share any content you add, and you must not impersonate another person or organisation.
Acceptable use
- No harassment, hate, spam, scraping, or automated bulk activity.
- No false, misleading, or fraudulent profiles, credentials, or proof of work.
- No unlawful content, malware, or attempts to break platform security.
- No use of another member’s contact details for anything other than the purpose they accepted.
Public content
Your dot is public. You grant us a limited licence to display, cache, and generate share images (such as your dot card and link previews) for the purpose of operating and promoting the service. You retain ownership of your content and can remove it by editing or deleting your dot.
Moderation
We may review, hide, or remove content and suspend accounts that violate these terms or harm the community, and we operate report and review queues for that purpose. Where practical we will act proportionately.
Grievance Officer (India)
In accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made thereunder (including the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021), our Grievance Officer is Imanto, reachable at support@joinconstella.com. You may contact the Grievance Officer about any content or conduct on Constella that you believe is unlawful or breaches these terms. We aim to acknowledge complaints within 24 hours and resolve them within 15 days of receipt.
Disclaimers & liability
Constella is provided “as is” without warranties. We do not vet members and are not responsible for interactions, opportunities, or outcomes arising between members. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited.
Termination
You can stop using Constella and delete your dot at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these terms.
Changes & contact
We may update these terms and will revise the date above. Questions: legal@joinconstella.com.
